Great variety of accommodations, including dorms and private rooms. Good value for dorms, although private room prices may be higher. Exceptional common area and garden. Helpful staff who go the extra mile. Highlight of the trip was the Corcovado Tour with Sorcous Tours. Wildlife sightings were abundant.

My stay at La Palapa Hut Nature was absolutely amazing! The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature, and I had the opportunity to see macaws, toucans, monkeys, and even a sloth right on the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner Andrew was incredibly kind and helpful. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook my own meals. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Puerto Jimenez.

We had an incredible time at this hostel. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities were top-notch. The garden surrounding the hostel was a nature lover's paradise, filled with monkeys, macaws, and other wildlife. We loved sitting around the bonfire in the evenings, sharing stories with fellow travelers. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience possible, showing us animals and making us feel right at home. The location, right next to the forest and national park, was perfect for exploring and immersing ourselves in nature. The free breakfasts and fine coffee were a great way to start our days, and the staff was always polite and helpful.
Couldn't stay longer.

The garden at this place was amazing! We could just relax in the hammocks and watch birds and monkeys passing by. It was such a peaceful and beautiful experience. The staff were also really friendly and had a great attitude. They were always smiling and ready to help.
The cabin we stayed in was painted with dark colors inside, which made it look small and dark. It wasn't the most inviting atmosphere.

We had a lovely romantic escape surrounded by the beautiful nature and charming animals. The well-equipped kitchen was a plus that allowed us to cook our own meals. The staff was friendly and always available to answer our questions. We also enjoyed the convenient location near town and the availability of bike rental.
The lack of sound insulation and humidity in the rooms made for a less than perfect experience. We had to choose between being too cold with a loud machine noise or feeling the humidity and noise coming from the road.

The staff was very helpful and informative, always answering our questions with a smile. The location is perfect, close to stores, restaurants, and banks, making everything easily accessible by foot. The hostel had a lovely garden and a large kitchen area where we could cook our meals. We also appreciated the cleaning service provided, which always left our room spotless.
We were disappointed that towels were not provided during our stay. Additionally, the room was not well insulated, and it was quite small and humid.

Our stay at La Palapa Hut Nature was exceptional. We were amazed by the beautiful garden surrounding our private cabin, where we had the privilege of watching a whole ape family snacking on fruits from a palm tree. The colorful macaws and crabs added to the enchanting atmosphere. The hostel's location was convenient, with a grocery shop just in front and the airport and beach within walking distance. The kitchen, although not fully equipped, allowed me to make a European-style breakfast, and we could leave our baggage at the hostel during our trip to the national park. Despite a few drawbacks, such as the small tent size and the need to put our own covers on the bed, the overall experience was delightful. The helpful staff and great Wi-Fi made our stay even better. I highly recommend La Palapa Hut Nature for an unforgettable nature-filled getaway.

The hotel facilities were extensive and fun, with a big lounging area and even a table tennis table. I also loved how the hotel had a dry room for my luggage.
